The Dallas Public Library J. Erik Jonsson Central Library Fine Arts Division has organized a film series celebrating African American history using archival films from the Tyler, Texas Black Film Collection within SMU's Hamon Arts Library G. William Jones Film and Video Collection. Wednesday nights in October from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. the Library will screen a film from the collection in the auditorium.
